Back in December 2015, during my third year of university, I created an artbook project about Saigon. I chose "bánh mì" as my subject—the most iconic and familiar image for every Vietnamese person.

The book is divided into three parts: Bánh mì in the bakery, on the street, and in luxury restaurants. I’ll never forget those days spent wandering around Saigon, visiting bakeries to watch the baking process and chatting with vendors who had been selling bánh mì for decades.
