"The Spring of a life"
"The Spring of a life" is the concept of the visual essay for my very first project in Studio 1 which is about Saigon and Bangkok.
Both Saigon and Bangkok remind me of one's youth but in different phases.
Saigon is like in the transition from adolescence to adulthood, a new chapter of 20s: young, proactive, agile. Having said that, we still don't forget to take care of our well-being and enjoy life.
That is how youth in the 20s looks. It never comes back again.
So we live as if we are chasing something. Sometimes, just sometimes, we lose ourselves, our roots, our originality, for a while.
Look back, reflect, learn then move forward to the new stage of the 30s.
Now, the Spring of our life turns into another life chapter, our 30s.
I believe that when one door closes, another one opens, as long as we don’t lose hope.
I just finished my 20s and am now on my journey through my 30s, filled with mixed emotions and reflections. The only thing I know is that I don’t regret anything I did in the past. Every memory is beautiful to me, whether it’s happy or not.
Sending love and hugs to my best friend Vi for your help with photography — thanks to your great aesthetic and that high-quality iPhone 16 😆
Finally, thank you my dear advisor, Nigel for your dedicated guidance and support along the way I made this visual essay.
